Like the title says, I am curious where the Tampa area Oppos go to track days.
I know about Sebring and Daytona of course, but am curious if there are other lesser known tracks that are closer. I've not found any closer than 1.5 hours.

PBIR is pretty good and probably about the same distance as Daytona and Miami has Homestead. Sorry, there isn't really much else that I can think of. A couple of hours south we do autocross once a month but you have FAST in Tampa doing the same thing, and there's a rather poorly run oval in Port Charlotte that pretty much lets you set up a course with cones on it if you want, but I can't think of any So-Flo tracks other than the obvious ones, let alone ones that are that close.

Yeah FAST looks like the go to Autocross event organizer around here. I plan to sign up for their events once I get the car here.
It is bizarre that there isn't a track in or around Tampa given how much the town has grown and how many sports/performance/exotic cars there are here. The year round warm weather makes owning a sports car easy and you could run the facility year round too.

It seems like every facility is in pretty much in a constant struggle for survival. PBIR changed owners a couple of times recently, and FIRM are under newish owners as well. I don't think that there's as much money in a road course as there probably should be.
